About Indiana Center for Recovery - Indianapolis

The Indiana Center for Recovery in Indianapolis is the most private and personal among Indiana Center for Recovery’s network of 10 facilities throughout the state. By limiting the number of clients admitted, the staff here can provide individualized care that focuses on each person’s needs. The facility’s excellence is reflected in its consistent recognition by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Treatment Centers since 2021, along with hundreds of five-star reviews from former clients.

The addiction treatment approach addresses substance abuse and mental health disorders simultaneously rather than treating them separately. People battling dependencies to substances such as alcohol, opioids, or prescription medications, or facing conditions such as depression and anxiety, can access medical detox services to ensure their safety during the initial stages of recovery. The facility uses time-tested methods such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with cutting-edge innovations such as GeneSight genetic testing, which eliminates the trail-and-error approach to finding effective medications by analyzing a person’s genetic makeup. Additional specialized treatment options include EMDR for trauma and holistic services such as music therapy and mindfulness practices.

Treatment ranges from residential programs to part-time outpatient services, ensuring the level of care matches each client’s circumstances. During downtime, clients will have access to gourmet dining, recreational facilities, and various therapeutic activities within a premium setting. The rehab program also emphasizes family involvement and develops discharge plans for continued progress in the outside world. Conveniently situated near major highways with transportation services available statewide, including airport pickup, the facility makes quality care accessible regardless of where someone is located in the state.

I just wanna give a huge shoutout to all the staff here. They treated me with respect and actually listened to me when I needed it most. The drug rehab and mental health services really helped me turn my life around. I was in a really bad place and honestly don’t know where I’d be without the support I got here. The staff went above and beyond and never gave up on me. This place literally saved my life and I’ll always be grateful for that. THANK YOU to everybody who helped me along the way ❤️🙏

IDFC is a great place! They were extremely helpful in my addiction and recovery process. Carla the tech was especially helpful in providing me with necessary clothes I forgot at home and needed. The whole nurses staff was super supportive of my needs. The entire staff was amazing. I have been there twice and both times were exceptional!! I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with mental health and addiction.
