About Indiana Center for Recovery - Carmel
Indiana Center for Recovery’s Carmel location is in a discrete medical office between Westfield, Noblesville, and Fisher. This state-licensed facility offers a wide array of evidence-based services from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to relapse prevention and medication-assisted treatment. The alumni program offers support beyond initial treatment, with virtual options available for those who prefer remote support. Innovative GeneSight therapy is also available, which analyzes DNA to determine which medications will address a client’s needs most effectively.
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are conducted in the evening, and form the cornerstone of services at this location. This allows clients to maintain their professional and personal life while receiving care. The treatment team has more than 100 years of collective experience in addiction and mental health, with many bringing their own recovery journey to their expertise. Financial accessibility remains a priority, with most insurance plans accepted, including TRICARE military insurance for veterans and their family members. Clients throughout Hamilton County and neighboring areas can access transportation assistance when needed, particularly if they need a higher level of care not offered at the Carmel office.
Since 2021, Newsweek has consistently named it among America’s Best Treatment Centers, and clients have awarded it a 5-star rating on Google reviews. It is also accredited by the Joint Commission, an honor that has only been bestowed upon 20 percent of drug and alcohol rehab centers in the United States.

Reviews
The staff and treatment here has been really great here especially compared to other mental health out patient that I have been to here in the area. They are so supportive and very helpful as I begin transition back into normal everyday life after a long inpatient treatment stay in Mishawaka.
ICFR Caramel is undoubtedly an amazing blessing. From the moment I decided to seek treatment there. They’ve helped me all the way through. The intake staff, was very informative and took care of everything. Once at the facility, Pam Is a godsend. She’ll take care of every need. The groups are a nice size, so you’re able to discuss your issues and the therapist stay on topic. Carmela is amazing! She will work with you, to let you talk about what you’re going through and has so much wisdom it amazes me how she is able to encourage individuals in the group. I think we have one of the best nurse practitioners I’ve ever met, her name is Eve.. She takes the time to get to know you and really cares about how you’re doing and what your needs are. She’ll work with you if there’s anything you need. I highly recommend ICFR Carmel.
They care here. They pay attention to my as a person not a number. Groups are amazing. I've met a lot of good people that care and identify with me.
ICR is a caring, insightful, professional recovery center working to help their patients and families. Pam, Carmila, Dana and Eve are wonderful, bright and dedicated people, along with all the kind intake people over the phone.
I have only been coming here three days a week in IOP and feel so much better and more positive.
ICFR has been an amazing experience for me. Pam is awesome and offers so much encouragement to me and the group. Carmela is the best group facilitator and therapist I've ever had!!
Doesn’t get any better in terms of quality from a rehab center. Caring and compassionate staff that goes above and beyond!
Such a fantastic outpatient location of the best recovery network in the state. Pam and Carmella are absolutely wonderful! Sometimes outpatient programs seem boring or pointless but Carmela and Pam work hard to keep interesting and meaningful topics for discussion! Nurse Practitioner Yfat (Eve) is the most intelligent and compassionate outpatient provider I have EVER had ! My time spent in virtual IOP at the Carmel location of ICFR really complimented my post inpatient treatment. If you are considering bettering your life, a choice of attending ICFR Carmel either virtually or in person will be a choice you do not regret!
