About Carrara Beach House

Located beautiful in Malibu, CA, with pristine ocean views and private beach access, Carrara’s Malibu Beach House is designed as an ultra-private coastal retreat. Clients stay in one of six individually appointed private rooms including Paradise Cove, Carbon Beach, Malibu Colony, Point Dume, Hidden Hills, and Calabasas. Privacy is treated as a priority at Carrara, making it very well-suited for high-profile individuals or anyone for whom discretion is needed. The facility is Joint Commission accredited and California DHCS licensed, and welcomes dogs.

The spa and wellness program is one of the most comprehensive offered by any residential rehab program in the United States. Three included weekly spa services may include aromatherapy, deep tissue, lymphatic, and sleep renewal massages, luxury facials developed in part by a Princeton-trained biologist, body scrubs, acupuncture, reiki, sound healing, spinal energetics, IV drips, cupping, nail care, full hair services, and Botox and fillers. In addition, the wellness program includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, private training, two pools for lap swimming and aqua fitness, a steam room, sauna and infrared sauna, a juice and smoothie bar, yoga, hypnotherapy, meditation groups, private breathwork sessions, crystal healing, and chiropractic care. A licensed dietitian provides one-on-one nutrition consultation and coaching, tailoring meals to each client’s health history and preferences. Gourmet chef-prepared meals are provided throughout the stay.

Some of the evidence-based services available here include medical detox, CBT, DBT, individual and group therapy, and dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions. The Transformation Mindset Program offers private one-on-one sessions focused on reprogramming thought patterns and belief systems that contribute to addictive behavior. After completing residential treatment, clients transition into an aftercare and alumni program that builds post-treatment routines around the coping tools, self-care habits, and relapse prevention skills that were developed during their stay.
